Greetings to the Blue & White Family of the Eastern Region:

Sincerely proud and humbled to have this opportunity to serve as your Eastern Region Director of Education, I pledge to diligently work with this board, as well as chapters, to ensure that our region promotes all National and Regional Educational Initiatives.

Our Education Program was created to assist and affect collegiate and alumni brothers, as well as to service the community. I challenge Brothers of SIGMA to continuously uphold our principle of scholarship by mentoring undergraduates to excel academically, and to promote/sponsor chapter activities and observances with presenting scholarships and educational achievement awards.

During 2008-2010, the Eastern Region has approved that chapters will implement a signature Education Program in the Fall (Sigma Book-A-Brations, 11/16-23/08) and in the Spring (Sigma Read-In, 3/23-29/09). Executing these standardized programs within specified timeframes supports the ideals of FBS and the Eastern Region, as we make a greater impact upon our respective communities.

Brothers, in order for us, to be successful in achieving our goals and objectives, it will take a concerted effort of everyone. Based off the philosophy of Every Brother Is Part of the Formula, I am encouraging all brothers (collegiate, alumni, inactive, non-financial, undocumented, etc.) to take an active and progressive role in moving forward SIGMA and the Eastern Region.
