Upsilon XI Sigma Chapter Inducts Inaugural Sigma Beta Club
Chapter Announces Inaugural Group of Sigma Betas
Suffolk, Virginia – January 26, 2025 – Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Incorporated, Upsilon Xi Sigma Chapter is thrilled to announce the official the official chartering and induction of their inaugural class of Sigma Beta Club members January 25, 2025, at 2pm in the East Suffolk Recreation Center, 138 S 6th Street Suffolk, VA 23434. The guest inspirational message was delivered by the 1st Vice President Dr. Gary Ammons and the State SBC Coordinator Bro. Dr. Milton Branch provided greetings on behalf of the State of Virginia. These awesome young men range from the ages of 8-17 years of age. Their names are the following:

Elijah Isaiah Sutton
Melvin Coats
Samaree Jovan Hughes
Carter Elijah Powell
Kameron Hunter
Chandler Alexander-William Thompson
Their first trip that these young men took was to the Harrison Opera House where they enjoyed a concert provided by the Virginia Symphony which paid homage to the late great Dr. Martin Luther King. It was the first time for many of these young brothers to attend a symphony and to enter a opera house. They are looking forward to so many new opportunities and adventures to come with Upsilon Xi Sigma in 2025.
